Commercial Loan Officer
SUMMARY
The business relationship manager will handle commercial relationships and provide operational support to the department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- College Degree preferred
- Two to five years of similar or related experience.
- The successful completion of a 90 day probationary period
- Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Computer skills, and the ability to operate standard office equipment.
SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Originates and underwrites commercial real estate loans and small business loans. May conduct or oversee the inspection of properties. Develops relationships with builders, realtors, and other professionals to promote the institutions lending services
- Makes and services all types of Small Business Administration Loans.
- Responsible for screening, processing, reviewing and analyzing loan requests. May interface directly with an office of the Small Business Administration.
- Develops new leads and referrals and makes calls on commercial account prospects and existing customers.
- Seek to gather commercial deposits for the department, this will include working with existing customers as well as any prospective customers.
- Participates in community organizations and activities. Promote a favorable image of the Bank when dealing with the community.
- Assures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations.
- Adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
- Work with SVP, Chief Lending Officer on any and all Marketing programs or seminars.

Retail Banking Specialist
SUMMARY
The retail banking specialist is responsible for front line transactions, as well as representing to our customers the first stage of all account relationships.
Proper training on policies, procedures, and products and services for account representatives and those on the front line is vital to the success of the Bank. The impression the retail banking specialist makes with our customers is an important quality for developing and maintaining our account relationships.
Provides a variety of customer savings, checking and credit account transactions, as well as the sale of official checks in accordance with the banks policies and procedures. Performs customer services, such as opening new accounts, establishing direct deposit accounts, opening retirement accounts, protecting the bank by verifying the identity of new customers, and assisting customers with questions concerning the products and services offered by the bank, as well as problem solving customer questions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At a minimum, six months’ experience in a service related field
- Some Computer skills and the ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Successful completion of in house training and a 90 day probation period
- Good interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
- Must work one night a week and two Saturdays a month.
SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS
- Is responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions.
- Receives checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into computer system.
- Cashes checks and processes withdrawals; pays out money following verification of signatures and customer balances.
- Counts and totals on us and out-going checks received and compare totals to computer. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary.
- Balances cash drawer at the end of the day and compares totaled amounts to computer-generated proof sheet. Reports any discrepancies to the supervisor as necessary. Proves work to computer totals daily.
- Interviewing potential customers and gathering information needed to efficiently open and process new accounts.
- Provides efficient and courteous customer service, cross marketing products and services to generate new business for the bank when appropriate.
